Summary

The Public Library Association (PLA) is partnering with the American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office to present this webinar on the benefits of using outcome data to improve and support library programming. PLA’s Project Outcome is a free online toolkit designed to help public libraries understand and share the impact of their programs and services by providing simple, standardized surveys and an easy-to-use process for measuring and analyzing outcomes.

Learn how to use Project Outcome data for programming decisions and improvements, funding requests, measuring against strategic priorities, and advocating for the impact your programs and services have on the community. Participants will hear real library examples and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will:

  • Understand what is included in the Project Outcome toolkit and how it works;
  • Know how other libraries are using resulting outcome data for program improvements and more; and
  • Be able to apply what they learned to their library programs and services.

Who Should Attend

This webinar is open to everyone interested in outcome measurement, but will be aimed at programming librarians and library staff in charge of programmatic decision-making. If you would like to enroll in Project Outcome in advance of the webinar, please do so at www.projectoutcome.org.
